Dickinson + Associates, a Navisite company, today announced the successful completion of a breakthrough digital transformation project for cannabis pioneer Trulieve, a publicly traded seed-to-sale producer that is now ideally positioned for new growth and operational excellence.
Dickinson + Associates, an SAP Gold Partner based in Chicago, helped Trulieve implement SAP S/4HANA, the future-ready enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that supports AI, machine learning, advanced analytics and more. Trulieve is the latest in a series of cannabis companies that Dickinson + Associates has helped transform, making it a leader in technology consulting and solutions implementation for the fast-growing agricultural, medical and recreational cannabis industry.
Its experience in this market enables companies like Trulieve to capitalize on technology investments quickly. In just under four months – an unusual feat in normal circumstances and even rarer accomplishment during a global pandemic – Dickinson + Associates implemented technology to support Trulieve’s rapidly growing needs in research, supply chain management, retail commerce and more.
“The cannabis industry presents growers, researchers and retailers a multitude of challenges that require world-class software and services,” said Brad Wolfe, vice president of sales and corporate development at Dickinson + Associates. “SAP S/4HANA solutions provide the flexibility, scalability and reliability needed for better business insights and faster decision making. Our understanding of both the market and the technology enable our customers to focus on driving business rather than on the tactical aspects of their technology infrastructure.”
To help Trulieve go live with SAP’s flagship cloud platform in little more than a single business quarter, Dickinson + Associates introduced the Florida-based company to proven SAP methodologies, templates and best practices that it has honed and leveraged over the last two decades. Though the SAP S/4HANA implementation was the first project Dickinson + Associates undertook for Trulieve, it achieved its objectives and provides a foundation for both organizations going forward.
“Trulieve is a pioneer on many fronts and we look forward to pushing new boundaries in digital innovation with our new technology provider, Dickinson + Associates,” said Jason Pernell, chief information officer at Trulieve.
