2021

Q3/Q4: New York to allow flower sales in their medical program. The state will also expand the list of qualifying medial conditions. Public MSOS with a presence in New York: Curaleaf, Green Thumb, Cresco Labs, Columbia Care, Acreage, Goodness Growth, iAnthus Capital, and Ascend (through MedMen).

1 Sep – The New Mexico Cannabis Control Division will accept and process applications for cannabis producers no later than Sept. 1. Public MSOS with a presence in New Mexico: Goodness Growth.

1 Sep – Public comment period deadline for Cannabis Administration and Opportunity Act. This is Senators Schumer, Booker and Wyden’s bill.

Sep – Medical cannabis flower will be available in Virginia beginning September 2021. Public MSOS with a presence in Virginia: Columbia Care (2 licenses), Green Thumb, Jushi and MedMen (this license could be awarded to someone else as it is in the courts).

2022

Q1 – New Mexico must start adult use recreational marijuana sales by 1 April, 2022. Public MSOS with a presence in New Mexico: Goodness Growth.

Q1 – Minnesota has until March 2022 to allow flower sales in the medical program. Public MSOS with a presence in Minnesota: Goodness Growth.

Q1/Q2 – New Jersey recreational sales. Public MSOS with a presence in New Jersey: Curaleaf, Green Thumb, Verano, TerrAscend, Ayr Wellness, Acreage and Ascend Wellness.

Summer – Connecticut adult use sales.

Summer/Fall – New York recreation sales start. Public MSOS with a presence in New York: Curaleaf, Green Thumb, Cresco Labs, Columbia Care, Acreage, Goodness Growth, iAnthus Capital, and Ascend (through MedMen).

Feb – Deadline for the start of New Jersey recreational marijuana sales. Public MSOS with a presence in New Jersey: Curaleaf, Green Thumb, Verano, TerrAscend, Ayr Wellness, Acreage and Ascend Wellness.
