Columbia Care opens Cannabist dispensary in Springville, Utah

Columbia Care Inc. (NEO: CCHW) (CSE: CCHW) (OTCQX: CCHWF) (FSE: 3LP) (“Columbia Care” or the “Company”), one of the largest and most experienced cultivators, manufacturers and providers of medical cannabis products in the U.S., announced the opening of its new dispensary, Cannabist, in Springville, Utah.

Cannabist – Springville is located at 484 S 1750 W and serves patients approved by the state’s medical cannabis program. The grand opening event featured a ribbon cutting with Councilmember Michael Snelson and other members of the local community. Following the ribbon cutting, the store’s pharmacist, Mikel Hamilton, held educational events focused on product overviews and the benefits of medical cannabis to aid in sleep and relaxation.

“We were thrilled to see so many members of the Springville community at our grand opening event this past weekend,” said Hamilton. “Especially as our community grapples with a severe opioid epidemic, we are grateful to share our passion for the power of cannabis with our patients and offer an effective alternative. Their excitement about our products and the overall enhanced pharmacy experience that Cannabist now offers was inspiring.”

More than a dispensary, Cannabist provides a higher experience built on one of the largest data repositories, passion, technology innovation, community commitment and product standards. The Cannabist experience centers on making shopping for cannabis as approachable and straightforward as possible, accommodating the vast range of experience levels patients may have when they walk through the doors. Merchandising set-ups and floor layouts are organized to help patients move through the space with intent and become more comfortable in the process. Additionally, the space is designed to encourage employees and patients to engage in conversations that enhance the shopping experience, whether through product recommendations or general education. To fully realize this goal, all Cannabist staff have undergone extensive training, ensuring that patient needs can be exceeded.
