Liberty Health’s medical marijuana sales up 58% week-over-week in Florida

Per the Florida Department of Health Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU) sales report, Liberty Health Sciences had an amazing week in Florida, growing flower sales by 58% week-over-week. When measuring sales by THC in milligrams, Liberty’s sales increased 165% in the same period.

Ayr Wellness finalized its acquisition of Liberty Health Sciences on 26 February, 2021. Since then sales have slowly trended upwards, but nothing like sales this week:

During recent interviews, Ayr Wellness CEO Jonathan Sandelman stated that Liberty had an issue with supplying their stores more than two to three days a week. He stated since the acquisition there has been significant improvement in cultivation and Liberty stores now have two strains of product five days a week and in July will have 15 strains seven days a week. If the prediction comes true, expect significantly higher Libery sales by the end of summer.

All cannabis CEOs with a presence in Florida have stated that the state is undersupplied with cannabis, so it is pretty clear that Ayr Wellness simply fixing Liberty’s cultivation issue is starting to pay off.
