Trulieve Cannabis Corp. (CSE: TRUL) (OTCQX: TCNNF), a leading and top-performing cannabis company based in the United States, announced today the opening of a brand-new Florida dispensary, the Company’s 78th nationwide. The new 4,600 sq. ft. location marks the Company’s first in the city of Sebastian and second in Indian River county, expanding patient access to Florida’s largest and broadest assortment of high-quality medical cannabis products.
The new dispensary also supports Trulieve’s goal of ensuring direct, reliable access to medical cannabis across its home state of Florida. It joins the Company’s 72 other Florida dispensaries, including those in nearby Vero Beach and Melbourne.
“We are excited to open this new dispensary in Sebastian and bring access directly to patients in the area, as well as offering resources for education on the benefits of medical cannabis,” said Trulieve CEO Kim Rivers. “Trulieve remains dedicated to creating an environment where everyone from experienced patients to people newly curious about medical cannabis feel comfortable. Our staff is well-trained, educated, and ready to serve patients; we encourage everyone to reach out to find out more.”
The Office of Medical Marijuana Use recently announced the registry has surpassed 465,000 registered medical marijuana patients with an active ID card, with Trulieve consistently selling approximately half of the state’s overall volume per the Florida Department of Health. To support the state’s rapidly growing patient base, there are more than 2,700 registered ordering physicians in the State of Florida.
